I already told you about New year, new me my idea of taking stock and setting goals for the new year. Well, this year I am very positive, I have a lot of plans, ideas and "goals", but at the heart of it all is my desire to be more inward looking, to listen to my body and soul, to find the little joys in life and share them with the people closest to me. Yes, my plans are for big events, but I realize they wouldn't be worth anything without the little moments. I dedicate 2023 to them.
A faithful helper in all planning, and also in dreaming, is the reference - a place where you can write down what is coming, what you expect, what to prepare for, but also what has happened to you, what you have achieved, what you have failed to achieve, but everything is fine. An ideal helper in these endeavors is an annual calendar, and if its design is fresh, stylish, one that brings you peace of mind but also inspiration - it immediately becomes the perfect solution.
I am writing this to share with you how much I am enjoying the new calendar from Miranda Publishing. They have two designs, one with wizards and one with mandalas, with the picture for each month being the ever so hit adult colouring. You color your own life - isn't that a fairy tale?

The one I have has mandalas for coloring. Let me tell you a little more about the mandala. "Mandala" in Sanskrit means, "essence" + "has, contains," how poetic. In buddhas, the symbol can represent a person's energy field as well as their mental picture of the universe.
The psychotherapist Carl Gustav Jung noticed that when faced with a choice, making an important decision for themselves, his patients involuntarily began to draw on whatever they had at hand. Jung was intrigued by the mysterious circles and began drawing mandalas himself, for which he set aside a special notebook, later known as the Red Book. Thanks to him, psychotherapeutic techniques - mandalodiagnostics and mandalotherapy - have emerged.

The other, no less interesting design of the Miranda calendars features images of wizards. Well, does this symbolism need to be explained. What could be more wonderful than adding magic to your days yourself? By painting your own kind of monthly fairy godmother, you turn the pumpkin into a carol yourself. And in today's world, where reclaiming the power of personality is an increasingly popular trend (thankfully), this is just a wonderful method to practice it.
Well, I wish you to have a year that contains a lot of substance, to conjure up many wonders and to use only the pretty colors to color it with emotions.
